The following is a recipe for making Damask rose Body Lotion all of your own. It’s very quick, cheap and easy to follow steps of how to make body lotion.

Melt ½ an ounce of beeswax together with 100 ml Damask rose oil. Do this in a pan that is on a very low heat to ensure that the mix does not burn. (Before you start making the Lotion, please check that you are not allergic to Damask rose oil)

Next start to mix the beeswax and oil mixture, using a whisk or electric mixer. During the mixing add 10 ounces of distilled water or Aloe Vera gel. Distilled water is much cheaper, as you can make it yourself. But Aloe Vera gel will help your body lotion to last much longer and will make your skin feel much better.

During the mixing, you should add a tablespoon of Vitamin E oil to increase shelf live of the oil.

Homemade body lotions should always be kept in a cool and dark place to help them last as long as possible.
